Counsellor and anthropologist, Sarah works with expats and international couples using somatic and trauma-informed approaches rooted in compassion and cultural understanding.

A British-French counsellor and anthropologist, Sarah supports expats and international couples in navigating life’s challenges with greater calm, connection, and resilience. Her approach is gentle, somatic, and trauma-informed—combining talk therapy with body-based tools to help clients feel more grounded and at home in themselves, wherever they are.

Sarah’s therapeutic work is integrative and deeply compassionate. She blends evidence-based methods with an understanding of cross-cultural experiences, creating a warm, respectful space where clients feel safe, accepted, and truly heard. In couples therapy, she uses the research-based Gottman Method to help partners build stronger communication, mutual understanding, and lasting connection.

Having lived and worked across the UK, Germany, Spain, Argentina, Singapore, Tunisia, Switzerland, and France, Sarah brings a rich intercultural perspective to her practice. She is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and integrates insights from Somatic Experiencing, Polyvagal Theory, and Compassion-Focused Therapy into her work.

Sarah holds a PhD in Anthropology (London School of Economics) and an MA in Counselling (Webster University Geneva). She is a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), a Professional Member of the American Counselling Association (ACA), and is affiliated with the Swiss Counselling Association (SGfB), entitled to use the specialist title “Counsellor SGfB.”
